Responsibilities
We are seeking a Marketing Intern to join our fast-paced, creative environment in Secaucus, NJ.
The Marketing Intern will assist the Marketing Manager with advertiser and reader marketing and promotional activity for our award winning Meetings & Conventions magazine and affiliated publications. This position works with independent design and production contractors and vendors who supply marketing materials and merchandise. The Intern will also assist with tradeshow planning, meeting and event planning and assisting the sales staff with marketing requests as well as other tasks assigned by the Marketing Manager.
Qualifications
A basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet search is required. The ideal candidate is working toward a degree in business, preferably with an emphasis on marketing and/or advertising.
Other
This position is unpaid, as it is expected that the Intern will receive course credits for their work. Work schedules can be adjusted to meet the Intern’s class schedule.
