ResponsibilitiesNORTHSTAR Travel Media, LLC, the global leader in business-to-business publishing for the travel/hospitality industry, is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager for our Electronic Products Group. The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for maximizing renewals and sales of our subscription-based, online products through the conception, development, and analysis of all direct marketing and advertising efforts, promotional offers and renewal series.
Responsibilities:
1. Primary
• Market EPG products, maximizing both sales and renewals.
• Conceive and plan marketing programs and promotional offers in collaboration with the EPG General Manager and sales team, and execute on them.
• Develop effective and cost-efficient means of acquiring new customers, as well as improving retention with existing customers.
• Test, analyze and report on marketing efforts, lead-generation and conversions across multiple channels and means.
• Manage all marketing efforts, ad placements, ad development, eblasts, etc. Manage and track all of these marketing efforts against budget and goals.
2. Eblasts & Direct Mail
• Select and acquire use of mail and email lists, and manage and grow internal lead list.
• Oversee and create all direct mail and email marketing pieces.
• Test campaigns, and track and analyze all efforts including deliverability, open, click and conversion metrics.
• Set all production and mailing schedules, and execute against them.
3. Marketing Support & Trade Shows
• Develop brochures, trade materials, giveaway items, sales kits, sales sheets and promotional materials.
• Develop all signage for trade shows.
4. Fulfillment and Marketing Analysis
• Create and maintain retention reports.
• Create, test and analyze renewal series and coordinate renewal efforts with the fulfillment vendor.
5. Tracking & Analysis
• Conduct extensive testing, tracking and performance analysis of marketing and advertising across multiple channels.
Qualifications
- College degree
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing marketing, with an emphasis on direct marketing, preferably for online subscription-based services. Substantial experience with email and online marketing required.

Copy-writing for direct marketing channels, especially email.

Email and online marketing best-practices, including list acquisition and management.

Campaign, landing-page, SEO/SEM and shopping-cart testing and conversion analysis.

Creativity, problem solving, tracking and spreadsheet reporting and analysis, multi-tasking, project-management and organizational skills.

Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Excel required.

Some HTML experience a plus.
